A modern, spacious home built for entertaining poolside. A starter home with a shady, fenced-in backyard in a great neighborhood. A two-bedroom luxury condo in a walkable downtown. A fixer-upper with loads of potential in an award-winning school district.

Regardless of your vision or your price point, I’m here to help you find your next home.

Working with me to buy a home involves a multi-step process, that goes a little something like this:

Step 1: A free, no-obligation consultation

At our first meeting, I want to get to know you, and let you know my approach, to ensure we are a good fit for each other. I will ask you questions to clarify your goals, and answer any questions you have about me. If you need to sell your current home, we can discuss what that might look like and how I can help.

Step 2: Market research

As part of my service to you, I will send you detailed information on homes meeting your criteria that have recently sold in your target areas. I will also set up an online search portal that allows us to keep in touch about homes might interest you. We will then start looking at homes together, and if you are out of town, I will conduct virtual showings with you. These market research strategies will help us get on the same page about what homes are selling for and how long your particular home search might take.

Step 3: Proactively searching high and low for your next home.

I do not rely exclusively on the MLS to find homes for my clients. As a REALTOR® with The Sivel Group at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, I have access to both on- and off-market opportunities (sometimes known as Quiet Listings) with the largest brokerage in the entire region. I am known to reach out to other agents asking about homes that may become available for sale and to pursue potential sellers in neighborhoods that my clients love.

Step 4: Moving quickly to see homes and make offers.

I waste no time in getting you in to see a home that piques your interest, and if you love it, we get right to work on crafting an offer. I will help you decide on a competitive offer price and terms, and answer every question you have throughout the process.

Step 5: Congrats!

You’re under contract! Inspections and an appraisal are the next steps. I will help you choose inspectors, attend the inspections, and gather estimates for any needed repairs. If an appraisal comes in lower than anticipated, or an inspection reveals something unsavory, I will advise you on your options for next steps.

Step 6: Closing day.

I attend closing with you, and am available before and after to help with your transition to your new home. Are you looking for a cleaning service? No problem. A carpenter? No worries. I can refer you to contractors in the area. Ask me anything — if I don’t know the answer, I’ll find it.

What Clients Say About Siobhan

“During my three score and ten years on this little blue planet I have purchased and sold 5 properties and worked with dozens of realtors, some quite good, some not so good. Without question, however, Siobhan is the best. Siobhan places the needs and goals of her clients above her own financial considerations. She worked as hard to help me find an apartment as she would have to sell a million dollar home. She put my needs first. Siobhan is bright, extremely hard-working, and very personable. She puts her scholarly skills to good work investigating properties and analyzing options. She was always quick to answer emails and to make time for me at a moment’s notice. She is the perfect realtor to have in this uncertain real estate market. I trust Siobhan. I’m not sure I can say that about any other realtor I have worked with.”
